Three teachers. Pick the one who suits how you learn.

Switch whenever you like, or use more than one: Xiao Lin for the daily chat, Master Wang the week before an exam.

小林

Xiao Lin

Conversation buddy, HSK 1–4

A friendly peer who chats the way people really talk, and slips in corrections so lightly you barely notice the lesson.

Good for

  • Everyday small talk
  • Building confidence to speak
  • Picking up natural phrasing

Voice: Aoede, gentle and warm

  1. Xiao Lin:

    嗨!你周末做什么了?

Hi! What did you get up to at the weekend?

  2. You:

    我去公园了跟朋友。

跟朋友 is in the wrong place

  3. Xiao Lin:

    很好!小提示:跟朋友放在动词前面。我跟朋友去公园了。

Nice! Small tip: 跟朋友 goes before the verb. I went to the park with friends.

王老师

Master Wang

Grammar and HSK exam coach, HSK 1–6

A patient, structured teacher who explains why a sentence works, drills the patterns that come up in exams, and never skips a step.

Good for

  • Sentence patterns like 把, 被 and 了
  • HSK and HSKK preparation
  • Learners who like to know the rule

Voice: Charon, calm and measured

  1. Master Wang:

    今天我们练习把字句。请改一下这句话:我吃完了饭。

Today we're practicing 把 sentences. Rewrite this one: I finished eating.

  2. You:

    我把饭吃完了。

    I finished the meal.

  3. Master Wang:

    完全正确。把字句把宾语放到动词前面,强调结果。

Exactly right. 把 moves the object in front of the verb and puts the weight on the result.

李总

Manager Li

Business Chinese mentor, HSK 4–6

A senior manager who rehearses the meeting with you first: openings, pushback, polite refusals, and the toast at dinner afterwards.

Good for

  • Meetings and presentations
  • Emails and formal register
  • Business etiquette

Voice: Fenrir, deep and confident

  1. Manager Li:

    下午的会议,你准备好了吗?

Are you ready for this afternoon's meeting?

  2. You:

    准备好了。我会先介绍一下我们的方案。

Ready. I'll start by introducing our proposal.

  3. Manager Li:

    不错。开场可以说:感谢各位抽出时间。这样更正式一些。

Good. To open, you can say: thank you all for making the time. It sounds more formal.

Tell them once. They remember.

Your level, your goal and what you’re working on travel with you into every conversation, so you never have to explain again that you’re HSK 3 and studying for a family visit.

As you practice, your teachers add what they notice, like a tone pair you keep missing, and bring it back into the next chat.
